Job summary

Healthcare Support Worker – Ward 12

Are you looking for a career as a Healthcare Support Worker? If so we want you to join our committed, dynamic team working on Ward 12 – Elective Surgery at the Bournemouth Hospital.

We are a 20‑bed elective general surgical ward looking after a wide range of surgical specialities. This will give the successful applicant the chance to learn and develop their skills in a wide range of areas and to experience diversity in their day‑to‑day working life.

The successful candidate will need to work both days and nights on a rota system covering weekdays, weekends and bank holidays.

You would be working as part of a multi‑disciplinary team under the supervision of a registered nurse within a patient‑facing ward. Previous experience of working in a care environment is welcomed but not essential, as comprehensive training and support are provided for all successful candidates.
