A leading healthcare provider in Bournemouth is seeking a healthcare assistant for their Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) service. The role involves assisting in the rapid assessment and treatment of older patients to improve their care journey and minimize hospital admissions. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, venepuncture, and patient transport. The Older Person's Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) is an established service delivering care to suitable older patients.
The main aim of the service is to rapidly assess, diagnose and treat older patients within the same day, improving their patient journey and avoiding inpatient hospital admission where possible.

Please note if the role or service is relocated as part of a planned move, employees will not be eligible for excess mileage reimbursement. Travel from the postholder's home to the new work base will be considered a normal commute. Any other changes not related to this relocation will be managed according to the relevant Trust or National terms and conditions.
