A healthcare provider in the UK is looking for a Healthcare Support Worker to assist nursing staff by providing high-quality, compassionate patient care within a busy urological diagnostic and treatment hub. The role includes maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring effective communication with patients and staff, and fostering a respectful environment. Applicants should have literacy and numeracy skills at Level 1 or above and preferably experience in a General Surgical or urological setting.

Working as part of the team, this role is integral in assisting and supporting the nursing staff to deliver high quality, safe, kind, efficient, effective and compassionate patient care, and participating in other departmental related duties as requested/directed by the registered nursing and clinical team. The post holder will also be instrumental in ensuring all staff, colleagues, patients, families and visitors to the unit are treated with respect and dignity, and for reflecting the Trust values and behaviours at all times.
Working 5 days across Monday to Sunday, you will be working within a busy urological diagnostic and treatment hub providing a wide range of investigative procedures and treatments for general urology and uro‑oncology conditions. Main duties and responsibilities are (but not limited to):
