A health care organization in Bournemouth is looking for Health Care Support Workers to join the Critical Care Department. This exciting opportunity involves working within a newly established unit and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver excellent care. Applicants can be employed initially at Band 2 or Band 3 based on their care certificate competencies. Training and support will be provided. The role may require cross-site working. This is a very exciting time for the Critical Care Department at UHD. We are merging our teams and moving into a brand new State of the Art Unit. Our team of Health care Support Workers work with the Multi disciplinary team to deliver excellent care to our patients. Training and support for the role is given by the education team.
This post is being advertised as a Band 3; however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3.
Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital cross site working may be required when it is necessary to meet the provisions of the service needs.
Interview Date: 30th December 2025.
