Job summary

A prominent healthcare provider in Bournemouth is seeking Health Care Support Workers for the Critical Care Department. The positions are offered at Band 2 or Band 3, depending on care certificate competencies. Support and training are provided to aid in your development. This role involves working with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure excellent patient care. Successful applicants will join a newly formed team and help deliver innovative healthcare services as part of ongoing transformations in the Trust.

Job description

This is a very exciting time for the Critical Care Department at UHD. We are merging our teams and moving into a brand new State of the Art Unit. Our team of Health care Support Workers work with the Multi‑disciplinary team to deliver excellent care to our patients. Training and support for the role is given by the education team.

This post is being advertised as a Band 3; however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3.

Base Location: Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Cross‑site working may be required when it is necessary to meet the provisions of the service needs.
