A leading NHS Trust in Colney seeks reliable individuals to support the Main Theatres Department. Responsibilities include moving patients, assisting surgical teams, and ensuring a safe environment during procedures. Ideal candidates will possess good organisational skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. HCA experience is desirable, but not mandatory. An exciting opportunity has arisen for keen and reliable individuals to join our teams within the Main Theatres Department.
The department utilises 25 Theatres which include Emergency, Obstetric, Vascular, Paediatric and ENT as well as Plastic and 2 Ambulatory Procedure Rooms. A number of theatres are used for multi‑specialty procedures including General, Thoracic and Gynaecology.
The Theatre Complex is committed to delivering outstanding care to our patients throughout their perioperative journey. Individuals need a good level of organisational skill and the ability to be dynamic with the ever‑changing workload.
We are looking for individuals who promote the Trust PRIDE values and demonstrate a caring and compassionate approach to patient care. HCA experience is desirable but not essential. As a department we value all of our team members and are committed in the promotion and development of all our staff.
You will be expected to attend and complete a Trust induction program.
