Job description

The Day Procedure Unit is made up of Muriel Thomas Day Procedure Unit, Allies Theatre and the North Norfolk Macmillan Centre. It has several LA (Local anesthetic) procedure rooms where minor surgery for Pain, Dermatology, Urology, Vascular and gynecological specialties, along with venesections and BCG treatments, take place. This clinical work is supported by clinics led by specialist doctors or nurses with the support of the nursing team.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is willing to adapt to meet the needs of our service and able to support our trained staff with the above specialties. You should be able to work well as part of a team and prioritize your own workload. The successful candidate will be expected to work in all areas of the department and be taught to use the specialised equipment. Previous experience in one of these fields would be desirable but is not essential as training will be provided.
