A healthcare provider in Torquay is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to provide high-quality care to patients. This full-time, permanent position requires flexible hours to meet service needs. Responsibilities include interviewing patients, undertaking clinical observations, and assisting within a team. Ideal candidates will have relevant knowledge, good communication skills, and be able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Salary ranges from £24,937 to £26,598 annually, with full training and support provided.
We aim to deliver high quality care with compassion to support patients during their Outpatients experience. We are seeking an enthusiastic & highly motivated person to join our friendly Team as a Healthcare Support Work working 37.5 hours per week. You will need to be able to work hours flexibly to meet needs of the service.
You will need to adapt to the many varying clinics within the department. You will need to enjoy working within an evolving service. There will be an expectation that the ideal candidate will be prepared to support learners within the department.

Working clinically you will support the team to provide safe and quality care to patients in your care, and to support the outpatients department as needed.

Interview patients and carers as part of the assessment process

Prioritising and documenting care. Monitoring clinical observations, and multitasking and adapting through shift as required.
