The role of the HCSW is to demonstrate care and compassion whilst ensuring that patients' needs are met. You will carry out nursing and non‑nursing duties as delegated by the registered nurse; using your own initiative within the level of competence expected for the role. The role involves assisting and supporting members of the multi‑professional team to provide a high standard of patient‑centred care, performing duties without the need for constant direct supervision.
Interviews for this position will be held in person ONLY at the hospital site. Remote interviews will not be available.

Assist the registered nurse to deliver care with privacy and dignity, focusing on respect for the patient and meeting their cultural and spiritual needs.
Delegated duties will include but are not limited to:
Communicating with the MDT to support patient care and working in accordance with policy and procedures to ensure safe and effective care.
