PPM Recruitment is seeking a qualified Electrician (M1 Grade) to work within Central Manchester NHS Trust, providing electrical maintenance and repair services across NHS healthcare facilities in Central Manchester.

This role requires carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs, fault-finding and electrical installations, while working safely in a live hospital environment to support essential healthcare services.

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
• Undertaking reactive maintenance, fault-finding and electrical repairs.
• Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults efficiently and safely.
• Completing electrical installations, alterations and minor improvement works.
• Maintaining lighting, power distribution, sockets, switches and associated electrical systems.
• Ensuring all electrical work complies with current regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Completing maintenance records, job sheets and relevant documentation accurately.
• Responding to maintenance requests and emergency call-outs as required.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.

• Work safely within a live hospital environment, minimising disruption to patients, staff and visitors.
• Liaise with colleagues, contractors and facilities management teams to ensure the smooth running of the department.
• Knowledge of healthcare estates and facilities maintenance.
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance systems.
