Job summary

Aztrum in Chorley is recruiting a Senior Architect to lead healthcare design across NHS and private sectors. You will oversee project delivery from early concepts to technical packages, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff.

The role requires ARB registration, strong Revit skills and extensive experience across RIBA stages, with a focus on healthcare projects and UK regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of complex Healthcare projects across multiple RIBA work stages
• Take responsibility for day-to-day management and progression of projects to programme, budget and quality
• Coordinate internal staff, consultants, contractors and stakeholders
• Produce and review detailed technical information and BIM models using Revit
• Oversee planning, Building Regulations submissions and technical design packs
• Engage with NHS Trusts and clients in meetings, design workshops and site visits
• Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, HTMs and HBNs
• Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle and resolve issues
• Support and mentor junior members of the team
• Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement of delivery processes
