Mitie Group plc. seeks a clinical leadership role to guide a team of HCPs, delivering accurate assessments and meeting detainees' wellbeing needs. You will cover rota gaps and supervise staff, reporting to the Clinical lead to ensure governance standards and force-specific needs are met.

You will manage performance, drive appraisals, and participate in integrated governance with senior clinicians. This role requires custody healthcare experience and a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Qualified RN Adult, RMN, RGNs or Paramedics.
• 3 years UK residency.
• Current manual driving licence with no restrictions for travel to custody suites or hospitals.
• All candidates are subject to police vetting checks.
• Minimum 12 months custody experience and 3 years post-qualification experience in related areas.

Responsabilités

• Work with Clinical lead and senior staff to follow National Clinical Governance Standards.

Description du poste

Your main responsibility will be to lead a team of HCPs providing detained individuals with exact assessments and assuring their care and wellbeing needs are met. Looking at Rota gaps and covering as needed. You will manage the HCPs ensuring they are supervised and appraised appropriately. Acting as management you will work as a part of an integrated team with the Clinical lead and Lead senior to ensure that the local processes follow National Clinical Governance Standards and the Forces specific needs.

Training provided whilst in post

• Appraisal and performance management training
• Non-medical Independent and supplementary prescribing
• Master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice in Custody Healthcare's
• RCUK approved Advanced Life Support training

You’ll be a qualified RN Adult, RMN's (with dual registration), RGNs or Paramedics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months previous Custody experience, 3 years post qualification experience, General Practice, Emergency Medicine, Walk in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, Mental Health, or Ambulance Service) as an Adult RN
• 3 years UK residency
• You’ll need a current manual driving license with no restrictions to sometimes travel to other custody suites or local hospitals.
• All candidates are subject to police vetting checks.

What can I earn?

• Starting salary of £45,000 can earn up to £49,000 - when all training completed
• However, with typical overtime shifts at premium rates, based on actual earlier data, that's another £3,500.
