Job summary
North East Surrey College of Technology (NESCOT) is seeking a qualified individual to lead teaching on Healthcare Play Specialism pathways at Foundation Degree and Degree Apprenticeship levels. The role involves delivering curricula and fostering collaboration with external mentors and Apprenticeship teams.
The candidate should hold a Level 6 qualification in a related subject, with SOHPS registration preferred, and have (or be willing to undertake) a recognised teaching qualification such as
Qualifications
- A Level 6 qualification in a related subject.
- Qualified Healthcare Play Specialist with SOHPS registration preferred.
- Teaching on Level 5 Healthcare Play pathway experience or related programme.
- Ability to develop external mentor and Apprenticeship relationships.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake PGCE/Cert Ed training.
Responsibilities
- To facilitate student learning on the Foundation Degree & Degree Apprenticeship pathways in Healthcare Play Specialism
- To administer and deliver the curriculum to meet students, the awarding body, and SoHPS needs
- To ensure yearly programme delivery is updated, including timetabling, schemes of work, module assessments, course handbooks, and portfolios
