Job summary

Medirest, the healthcare services arm of Compass Group UK&I, is recruiting a dedicated Facilities Supervisor (Zero Hours) to help ensure smooth operations within healthcare settings on a permanent casual basis.

You will supervise frontline teams, manage deliveries, and support rotas while upholding Food Handling, Hygiene and Health & Safety standards, with opportunities to develop within a large national employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment.
• Good communication skills focused on customer service.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Check and store deliveries promptly and correctly.
• Supervise a team and foster a welcoming, supportive environment.
• Act as a responsible key holder.
• Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties.
• Produce weekly rotas following manager's guidelines.
• Place orders to maintain stock levels.
• Delegate tasks and ensure proactive team performance.
• Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations.
