Amazon is seeking an experienced healthcare technology leader to drive long-term cloud propositions for the NHS in the UK. This strategic, outward-facing role bridges NHS clinical realities with AWS capabilities, shaping demand 12–36 months ahead of procurement cycles and ensuring AWS is positioned as the platform of choice for national health initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have CTO/CDIO-level background in the NHS, with a track record of translating policy into deliverable cloud

Formación

• Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• Experience in a professional field or military.
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience working with Core Cloud Technology Services (Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, Networking).
• Experience working with Business Applications (EUC, Supply Chain, Contact Center as a Service, etc.).
• Experience solving problems with technology in Healthcare/Life Sciences, Media & Entertainment, Global Financial Services, Telecommunications, Automotive & Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities.
• Experience in Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting.
• Experience with Advanced Compute technologies (Accelerated Compute, HPC, IoT).
• Experience with Enterprise Application Modernization and Migration (Mainframe, Serverless, Containers, Cloud Operations).
• Experience with Data & AI technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and own long-term cloud propositions aligned to NHS strategic priorities.
• Translate NHS policy into actionable AWS account plans.
• Engage with CIO/CDIO/CCIO/Medical Director as a credible peer.
• Shape NHS procurement criteria and architecture standards ahead of tenders.
• Lead proposition development for complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Partners and ISVs to build reference architectures and business cases.
• Represent AWS at national policy forums and NHS boards, contributing thought leadership.
• Advise AWS UK Healthcare leadership on strategic direction and opportunities.
