Job summary

OneCall24 Limited is recruiting Healthcare Assistants in Berkshire to fill ongoing positions across Nursing and Residential Homes, Supported Living care settings and other Care Assistant roles in Mental Health and Learning Disability sectors.

Responsibilities include monitoring health, personal care, meals, movement, and compassionate support. Applicants must have 6 months UK experience in the last two years and be eligible to work in the UK; hoist experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months experience in the past two years in the UK
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Comfortable to work in care settings
• Ideally comfortable using a hoist

Responsibilities

• Monitoring health conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight
• Moving and handling of those receiving care and assisting them around if needed
• Providing personal care including washing and personal hygiene
• Serving meals and assisting with feeding
• Showing compassion to ensure those receiving care are comfortable
• Working in Nursing and Residential Homes, Supported Living and other care settings
• Complying with care standards and maintaining accurate records
