Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Liverpool is seeking Band 2 healthcare assistants to provide high standards of basic care for patients under the guidance of registered nurses. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent communication skills and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Roles are available on both a full-time and part-time basis, offering a salary of £24,465 per year, pro rata.

Job Summary

Band 2 healthcare assistants will not be eligible for sponsorship as these roles will not meet the required skill level (RQF 3 or A level and above) despite salary increase.

Main duties of the job

Under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse, assisting the Ward/Department team in providing the highest possible standard of basic care for patients and their families/carer. An exciting opportunity has arisen on the Acute Cardiac Unit (ACU), a 16‑bed unit caring for patients with cardiology needs.

The successful applicants will be enthusiastic and hardworking, have excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a team, possess a good work ethic and be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
