Job summary

Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join the ward team. The role involves supporting patient care, administration and working with Registered Nurses and consultants, on a full-time basis at the Warwickshire Hospital near Leamington Spa.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care and relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting. The position includes weekend work and a salary up to £25,800 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in an acute hospital or care setting is necessary.
• Good telephone manner and computer/database skills.

Responsibilities

• Put patient care first.
• Carry out administrative duties.
• Support a team of Registered Nurses and consultants in delivering patient care pre and post surgery.
• Take time to get to know patients and meet individual needs.
• Use organisational skills to positively impact care delivery.

As a Healthcare Assistant on the ward at our hospital, you'll show us you're able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. You will be qualified with an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, and hold relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting.
