Job description

We will work alongside the successful candidate to ensure they are sufficiently inducted and trained; there will be regular constructive supervision in place. It is important to us that you feel safe and supported in the role., You will be part of the primary healthcare team providing high quality and forward-thinking nursing care to meet the holistic healthcare needs of the practice population

  • Long Term Condition Reviews
  • ECG recording
  • Phlebotomy
  • Accurately perform and record vital signs including: blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, pulse oximetry, diabetic foot checks
  • Health Promotion
  • Chaperoning duties
  • Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses
    You will succeed in this role if you are able to work in a busy, ever-changing environment.
  • You will need a relevant Care Certificate, NVQ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, or equivalent experience.
  • The ideal candidate will be experienced in phlebotomy, taking ECGs and recording blood pressure
  • The successful candidate will require a driving license
  • You will be suitable for this position if you are able to establish good relationships with our patients, showing empathy and support as appropriate.
