About The Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Paediatric Healthcare Assistant to provide overnight (waking night) support for a child with complex health needs and limited mobility. The role focuses on monitoring and managing health and care needs throughout the night in accordance with the child’s individual care plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide close observation and responsive care during night hours.
  • Manage epilepsy care, including seizure monitoring and administration of emergency medication as per protocol.
  • Support the use of medical devices and equipment.
  • Administer prescribed and PRN (as required) medications.
  • Assist with personal care, repositioning, and safe moving and handling.
  • Promote a calm, reassuring environment to support comfort and wellbeing.

A full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is preferred but not essential for this role.

Unity Care Solutions provides complex clinical healthcare services to children and vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes.

You will work with a small number of our clients to provide dedicated and professional healthcare services.
