An exciting opportunity has arisen for a two‑band 3 Healthcare Assistant on New Ward 7C at the Royal Liverpool Hospital. Full‑time and part‑time positions are available.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of patient care.
• Care for and support patients and their families.
• Perform clinical skills such as venepuncture, cannulation, ECG recording.
• Participate in the rehabilitation of patients.
• Communicate effectively with all members of the multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Band 2 Healthcare Assistant experience in an acute setting.
• Completed or willing to complete NVQ Level 3.
• Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the post holder will assist the ward/departments team and undertake a range of tasks and duties delegated by a registered nurse.
