A nurturing and inclusive primary school in Flackwell Heath is seeking compassionate and proactive individuals to join their team as SEN Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic chance to transfer your care experience into a school environment, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and making a real difference in their daily lives.

What You ll Be Doing:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and social/emotional needs
  • Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning to meet individual needs
  • Supporting children with EHCPs and helping them access the curriculum
  • Promoting emotional wellbeing, independence, and positive behaviour
  • Assisting with personal care needs where required, always maintaining dignity and respect
  • Working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to deliver holistic support
This Role is Ideal for Healthcare Assistants Who:
  • Have experience supporting individuals with additional needs, either in care, residential, or clinical settings
  • Are empathetic, patient, and passionate about helping children thrive
  • Are looking to transition into education and gain experience in a school setting
