Main duties of the job
  • Supporting patients throughout their treatment journey from answering queries to offering reassurance and emotional support when it matters most.
  • Assisting consultations by taking vital signs such as height, weight and blood pressure.
  • Preparing procedure rooms, assisting with treatments, and chaperoning consultants during ultrasounds and other procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring data is entered correctly and securely.
  • Collaborating with the clinical team to provide a seamless, supportive and positive patient experience.

You’ll also have the opportunity to develop your skills further, with training available in cannulation and theatre assistance helping you take the next step in your healthcare career.
