Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant for flexible treatment room sessions across primary care services in Westerham. This role suits HCAs who can provide hands-on support to nursing and clinical teams in GP clinic environments.

You will help with routine observations, treatments, and documentation, with fully flexible weekday/evening/weekend sessions; ad-hoc or regular work available. Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Previous HCA experience in primary care or NHS clinical settings.
• Confident performing routine clinical observations.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinic environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out routine clinical observations including BP, pulse and temperature
• Supporting treatment room procedures such as wound care and dressings
• Performing ECGs and basic health checks
• Assisting with phlebotomy if trained
• Updating digital patient records in line with service protocols
• Supporting clinicians with general duties where needed
