Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Healthcare Assistant for flexible treatment room sessions across primary care services in Bridgemill. This role is ideal for HCAs confident in performing routine clinical tasks within structured GP clinic environments, providing hands-on support to nursing and clinical teams.

You will assist with day-to-day treatment room duties, essential observations and routine procedures, ensuring smooth patient flow and consistent clinical support across the service.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HCA in primary care or NHS settings.
• Confident with routine clinical observations.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different clinic environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine clinical observations (BP, pulse, temperature).
• Support treatment room procedures (wound care, dressings).
• Perform ECGs and basic health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy if trained.
• Update digital patient records per service protocols.
• Support clinicians with general duties and maintain a safe environment.

• Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment

Requirements

• Previous HCA experience in primary care or NHS clinical settings
