Job summary

Locum Ready is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics throughout Beaminster. This role involves routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general support within organised GP clinic environments.

You will contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care by carrying out observations, assisting with clinical tasks and supporting the day-to-day running of the clinic. Flexible shifts across weekdays, evenings or weekends are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as Healthcare Assistant in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations and handling basic procedures.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience is beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
