Locum Ready is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics in Verwood. You will perform routine clinical observations, assist with treatment room tasks, ECGs, and phlebotomy as needed, while supporting nursing teams and ensuring smooth patient flow.

The role requires DBS clearance, GP/NHS experience, strong communication skills and adaptability to various clinic environments. Flexible shifts and ongoing locum work across regional locations are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as Healthcare Assistant in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS required.

Locum Ready is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics throughout Verwood. This opportunity offers a mix of routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general support duties within organised GP clinic environments.

You will contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care by carrying out observations, assisting with clinical tasks and supporting the day-to-day running of the clinic.
