Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics across Carronbank House. The role includes routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general clinic support within GP environments.

You will contribute to safe, efficient patient care by carrying out observations, assisting with clinical tasks and supporting day-to-day clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine clinical observations.
• Support treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Perform ECGs and routine health checks.
• Assist with phlebotomy where trained.
• Record information accurately in clinical systems.
• Provide general assistance to nursing and clinical teams.
• Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.

You will contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient patient care by carrying out observations, assisting with clinical tasks and supporting the day-to-day running of the clinic.

Requirements

• Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings
• Confident in routine patient observations
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial
• Enhanced DBS

Working Pattern

• Flexible clinic-based shifts
• Weekday, evening or weekend availability
• Suitable for both short-term and ongoing work
