Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional primary care clinics in Eye. You will perform routine clinical observations, assist with treatment room tasks and basic procedures, and help maintain smooth patient flow in organised GP clinic environments.

The role involves ECGs, routine health checks, and phlebotomy where trained, with DBS enhancement often required. Flexible clinic-based shifts include weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience as Healthcare Assistant in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS.
