Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional GP clinics across Whitland. The role involves routine clinical tasks, patient-facing procedures and general support to ensure safe, efficient clinic operations.

You will conduct routine observations, assist with ECGs and basic procedures, support phlebotomy when trained, record information accurately in clinical systems and help maintain smooth patient flow across shifting weekdays, evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to new clinics and workflows.
• Phlebotomy experience beneficial.
• Enhanced DBS.
