Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Healthcare Assistants to cover Corbridge and surrounding GP practices. You will join flexible sessions across local primary care services, delivering routine clinical tasks with confidence and strong patient-facing skills.

Responsibilities include patient observations, assisting in treatment rooms, phlebotomy where trained, and maintaining accurate notes. DBS enhanced clearance is required, with bookings across weekdays, evenings or weekends to fit availability.

Qualifications

• Previous HCA experience in primary care, community or NHS settings.
• Phlebotomy skills desirable.
• Ability to perform clinical observations confidently.
• Good communication and patient interaction skills.
• Adaptability across different primary care environments.
• Enhanced DBS.
