An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of Band 3 Nursing Assistants to join the Ward 25 team.
Under the supervision of a registered nurse assisting the Ward/Department team in providing the highest possible standard of care for patients and their families/carer.
The post holder will take undertake a range of tasks and duties as delegated by a registered nurse.
The role will involve participating in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Participating in all aspects of patient care, giving particular attention to pressure ulcer care, personal hygiene, toileting and feeding reporting progress and concerns to the Registered Nurse (RN). The post holder will work collaboratively and co-operatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families. Undertake a range of skilled tasks and duties with support of Registered Nurse. They will proactively lead in delivering all aspects of basic patient care from admission to discharge and take a leading role in supporting and developing more junior staff and the development of the ward.
