A leading healthcare facility in Uxbridge is seeking a dedicated candidate to provide patient care in the departure lounge. Responsibilities include assisting nursing staff, communicating effectively with patients, and maintaining hygiene standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in a healthcare setting and a commitment to patient dignity and safety. Supporting the departure lounge by collecting patients from the wards, bringing their belongings and medications so that the patient can be discharged to their discharge destination from the departure lounge.
The post holder is responsible for ensuring that patients are cared for in a safe environment and that privacy and dignity are maintained at all times.
The post holder will provide direct care and provide verbal and written reports.
To actively seek the views of patients / carers on their understanding of their care needs and develop a relationship to ensure the patient’s experience is positive.
Involved in clinical and non‑clinical duties in the departure lounge and responsible for assisting in the smooth run‑ning of the departure lounge.
