A health service provider in Ramsgate is looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Continence Team. This role involves supporting bladder and bowel care for adults, acting as a patient advocate, and working closely with various healthcare teams. Candidates must have relevant qualifications and experience in healthcare settings, as well as a valid UK driving licence. This position offers both full-time and part-time options.

We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Continence Service working within the Product Delivery Team.
The Product Delivery Service is a specialist team that assesses and processes referrals for continence products. The team works closely with the home delivery contract product supplier and the Home Delivery Transport Team.
The product delivery team assesses, authorises and processes product requests received via referrals from the Continence/Bladder & Bowel Service, Community Nursing Teams, Residential & Nursing Homes and other professionals.
As a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant within the team you will support the provision of high‑quality bladder and bowel care for adults in Kent, mainly through the reassessment of product processes for the product delivery service/Kent continence service.
You will act as an advocate for patients with bladder and bowel dysfunction in a person‑centred approach to ensure care is delivered that meets NICE guidance and standards, whilst working within local eligibility criteria.
Additional Working Pattern: Full time / part time / shared hours with community nursing covering M‑F 0800‑1700 – express wishes on application form.
