A healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join their team at Syston Health Centre. This role involves supporting the Theatre Team and ensuring high-quality patient care during procedures. The position offers a friendly working environment with no evening or bank holiday shifts, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Ideal candidates will have experience in health or care settings and possess NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. Flexibility and effective communication are essential for interacting with patients and the multi-disciplinary team.
Independent Health Group (IHG) has an opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly team in Syston Health Centre on an hourly paid basis. Hours will be worked between Monday and Friday, so there is no evening working, and nor do we operate on bank holidays.
We are currently unable to offer sponsorship for visas, therefore all candidates must have right to work in the UK.
The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) role is to provide support to the Theatre Team by undertaking circulating duties in the operating theatre and supporting the patient during the perioperative phase, while delivering a high standard of individualised patient care under the supervision of the registered team members. You will communicate effectively, in an empathic way, with patients and their relatives/carers at a particularly vulnerable part of the care episode. The HCA will also assist in outpatient clinics.
