Job summary

Spire South Bank Hospital in Worcester is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join our Imaging department, working closely with Radiographers and clinical teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will assist with patient care, monitoring, and movement, reporting changes promptly, and supporting others in a busy private hospital environment. This role offers full‑time hours, training, and progression opportunities within Spire’s benefits program.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working as an HCA (or equivalent) in a clinical/acute environment.
• Imaging knowledge desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• NVQ Level 3 is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care.
• Contributing to the support and monitoring of patients.
• Identifying and reporting any significant changes that might affect the patient’s health and well-being to the appropriate person.
• Assisting with the movement of patients in line with hospital policies.

Spire South Bank Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare assistant to join our dynamic Imaging department working closely with Radiographers and other clinical professionals. Duties and responsibilities

• Assisting the Imaging team in the provision of exemplary patient care

Who we're looking for

Contract: Full Time 37.5 Working Hours: Mon - Fri 08:00 - 18:00, Sat & Sun 08:30 – 14:30. Shifts within these hours will vary.
