Main duties of the job
Main duties of the job
As a Health Care Assistant at Shawbury Medical Practice, you will support the clinical team in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care to our patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include a mix of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth running of the practice.
You will carry out a range of clinical duties such as blood pressure monitoring, ECGs, administering certain vaccinations, wound care and supporting chronic disease management under the supervision of the nursing team.
In addition to patient-facing tasks, you will be responsible for daily room checks to maintain clinical cleanliness and safety standards, carrying out regular cleaning of equipment and clinical areas, ordering medical supplies, and conducting stock takes to ensure everything is fully equipped and ready for use.
You will be a key part of the team, playing a crucial role in keeping the practice running smoothly and providing excellent care to our patients.
