Health Care Assistant (HCA) – Private Nursing Home

Location: Heol Treowen, Newtown SY16 1JA
Rate: £14 to £18 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts

We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Health Care Assistants (HCAs) to join our dedicated team at a private nursing home located in Heol Treowen, Newtown SY16 1JA. You will be supporting adults and children in a safe, caring, and person-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
• Promote independence, dignity, and respect
• Work collaboratively with nursing and support staff
• Accurately document care provided
• Support emotional and social needs of residents

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a care or support setting
• Valid and up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
• Right to Work in the UK
• Completion of mandatory care training (including but not limited to Moving and Handling, Safeguarding, and First Aid)
