Responsibilities

We are seeking a kind, compassionate, and energetic Healthcare Assistant to join the care team of two twin girls living in the Wakefield area. In this rewarding role, you will support the girls through a range of engaging activities, including story time, interactive reading, drawing, and sensory play. A key part of your role will be to help create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages their development and learning. You will provide specialised care on a 3:2 basis, working closely with a Registered Nurse across both home and educational settings. Responsibilities include delivering personal care, administering medication, and meeting a range of clinical needs, as both children require intensive and complex care. The role also involves accompanying the girls on community outings, including visits to the library, the wildlife park, and weekend day trips, supporting their social interaction and enjoyment outside the home. Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff. Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
