A healthcare provider in Shrewsbury is seeking a Sexual Health Support role to assist in delivering high-quality care in clinics. Candidates should have a good education background and experience in healthcare. Responsibilities include assisting clinic procedures and promoting sexual health. The role offers a salary of £24,937 to £26,598 pro rata.

The post holder will be required to work in collaboration with members of the sexual health team, contributing to the promotion and provision of high-quality care for patients seeking advice, screening and treatment in contraception and sexual health settings within the sexual heath service.
The post holder will support the sexual health team, working autonomously where appropriate. Day to day duties to include phlebotomy, blood pressure, weight, height and body mass index calculations, pregnancy testing, collecting urine samples including urinalysis, providing a 'no talk testing' service, condom demonstrations, chaperoning, assisting and preparing for the sessions within sexual health.
The post holder will also be responsible for stock refill, rotation and ordering as per clinical requirements and also to support in the maintenance of high infection and prevention standards.
