Overview

Job summary

An exciting opportunity to join the team on ward 2 Glan Clwyd Hospital. The nursing team are proactive, innovative and have a wealth of knowledge. The ward, in collaboration with medical colleagues, supports all acute medical care needs of our patients. A team working approach is adopted to ensure safe practice, individualised care and a positive patient experience. The ward has the support of members of the multidisciplinary team working alongside them.

You will be offered the opportunity to develop both clinically and professionally within a supportive environment. All applicants are expected to keep up to date with new initiatives and interventions within nursing care. The position is for a part time Healthcare Assistant working 37.5 hours per week alongside a Registered Nurse and other Health Care Professions. Hours are to be discussed at interview.

Responsibilities

Main duties of the job

  • The post holder will support the trained nurse and other health care professionals in the delivery of the highest standard of patient focused care.
  • Improve the quality of the fundamental aspects of Health and Social Care for people who are acutely or chronically ill, frail or disabled.
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
