Job summary

Avon Search is recruiting a compassionate Healthcare Assistant for a welcoming Reading care home. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care, assist with personal care, mobility and daily living activities, and support residents including those with dementia.

The role offers full-time opportunities with day or night shifts, in a supportive environment with ongoing training and development.

Avon Search is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming care home in Reading, Berkshire, for a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join its friendly team.

This comfortable and supportive care service looks after older residents, including those with more sensitive care needs such as memory loss and dementia. The home also provides respite care, supporting members of the local community who are full-time carers for loved ones.

Set within scenic surroundings, the home benefits from mature gardens and its own summer house, providing residents with a pleasant environment in which to relax and enjoy their retirement.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about care and wants to make a genuine difference to the lives of older people.

The Role

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will:
