A leading healthcare provider is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant in Oxford to deliver person-centered, end-of-life care at patients' homes. Candidates should have at least six months of relevant experience and NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferred. This role requires empathetic communication and the ability to work independently, providing critical support to patients and their families.
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our community team in Oxford to support providing holistic, person centred, end of life care to patients in their own homes.
Band 2 Healthcare Assistants provide essential personal care and support to patients nearing the end of life, assisting with hygiene, nutrition, comfort, and mobility while maintaining dignity and respect. They work under the guidance of registered nurses, monitoring patient wellbeing, reporting concerns, and helping to create a safe and supportive hospital environment.

As a Healthcare Assistant you will practice empathetic communication with the patient and those important to them in a supportive, professional manner and provide high quality personal care and support to enhance wellbeing.
Work Schedule: Hours per Week, Monday to Sunday Including Bank Holidays
Shift Hours: 10:00pm 06:30am
Location: Community Based - Central Oxford
