Locum Healthcare Assistant – GP Practice

Location: Leicester

Pay Rate: £16.13 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Type: Locum / Temporary

Shifts: Morning and Afternoon shifts available

Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Locum Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join a friendly and supportive GP practice team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HCA looking for flexible locum work in a primary care setting.

Key Requirements

• Experience using SystmOne clinical system
• Previous experience working in a GP surgery or primary care environment
• Relevant healthcare qualifications and up-to-date training

Essential Clinical Skills

• Administering flu and COVID vaccinations
• Venepuncture (bloods)
• INR testing
• Simple dressings and wound care
• Administering injections: B12, pneumococcal, RSV, shingles
• Blood pressure monitoring
• Suture and clip removals
• Diabetic foot checks
• FeNO testing
• H. Pylori testing
