Job description

We are looking to recruit a Full Time Healthcare Assistant to join our Team. The successful applicant will be employed 3 days per week. The shifts are 12 hours long between 8am and 8pm.You will work as a trained multi-skilled member providing various aspects of care to elderly residents. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all daily living activities, for example, washing, dressing, toileting/incontinence and assisting with mealtimes.
• Follow guidelines for safe movement of clients, using appropriate equipment where necessary.
• All relevant kitchen related duties including basis meal preparation.
• Laundry washing, drying and ironing duties
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Complete all paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures as laid down by the company.
• Ensure the confidentiality of residents, colleagues and the company at all times.
• Communicate regularly with the line manager.
• Obtain NISCC registration before employment and maintain during employment.
• Adhere to the NISCC Codes of Practice.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines.
