Stanley House, operated by Elysium Healthcare Limited, seeks a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support residents with highly complex needs in a long‑term, person‑centred environment.

The role emphasizes resilience, teamwork and compassionate care, with a 12‑hour shift pattern (3–4 days) across days, nights and alternate weekends, totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with complex neurological conditions and behavioural challenges, adapting approach to changing needs.
• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, shaving, continence support and mealtime assistance.
• Participate in ward rounds, observe behaviours and contribute to care planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Provide compassionate palliative and end‑of‑life care, ensuring dignity, comfort and family involvement.
• Encourage engagement in therapeutic activities such as physiotherapy, art therapy and structured routines.
• Help residents enjoy meaningful experiences — from community outings to on‑site events and social activities.

Due to the rural location, reliable transport is essential. Taxi or relocation costs are not covered.
