Healthcare Assistant
Location: Sedgley, DY3
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour
Shifts: Part Time | Nights | Wednesdays and Saturdays | 9:30pm - 8:00am
At Apollo Home Healthcare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care to people in the comfort of their own homes. Every individual we support has unique needs - we tailor every care package to them, building a compassionate and skilled team around their requirements.
We live and work by the 6 Cs: Care, Compassion, Competence, Communication, Courage, and Commitment - and we're looking for people who share those values.
We are caring for a lovely young girl who lives at home with her mom in Sedgley. She enjoys sensory play, musical and light‑up toys, and listening to her Tonie box. She also loves watching YouTube and Disney films, as well as going for outdoor walks.
Her bedtime routine usually begins between 6:30pm and 7:00pm, when she goes to bed with her favourite teddy and enjoys a bedtime story before settling to sleep.
As part of her dedicated care team, you will provide 1:1 care, carrying out regular observations and repositioning, managing her clinical interventions, and attending to her personal care needs. If she wakes during the night, you'll offer comfort and reassurance to help her settle back to sleep.
Please note, applicants must be able to evidence hands‑on skills and competency in children's tracheostomy care, including routine tube changes. Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff. Our client has specifically requested female care staff to join their team.
“This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life.”
Our funded training, including clinical skills, comes at no cost to you, though attendance is unpaid.
If you're passionate about delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care and meet the requirements outlined above, we'd love to hear from you. To apply, please submit your CV through this job board.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Apollo Home Healthcare team.
