As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support Registered Nurses and the multidisciplinary team in delivering person‑centred patient care. Your duties include maintaining the ward environment, assisting with audit and accreditation, attending team meetings and adhering to trust policies and procedures.
Alton Ward is a 24 hour, 7 days a week service and this role requires shift work, including long days, rotation to night shifts, weekends and bank holidays. Please note this vacancy may close early if a high number of applications are received.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and professional Healthcare Assistant to join Alton Ward at Claycross Hospital, a small community hospital that provides excellent care to the local and wider community. Experience working in a social care setting is an advantage, as is NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, but we offer full training and development opportunities for the successful candidate.
