We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join us at HMP Fosse Way.

Salary & Hours

Salary This position is full time; you'll receive an annual salary up to £29,723 per annum, depending on experience.

Hours Full time, 37.5 hours per week. The service runs over a 24‑hour period; shifts will include both days and nights across 7 days a week on a rota basis.

Candidate requirements

Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and, due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.

Main duties of the job

As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care
  • Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.
