Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is looking for highly motivated and committed Health Care Assistants to join our wards and teams.
Responsibilities
- The postholder will carry out assigned tasks involving direct patient care, in support of and supervised by a registered Nurse, Midwife or Doctor. This includes attending to a patient’s hygiene and personal care needs, monitoring and reporting on any general observations of the wellness of the patient and maintaining standards of housekeeping in the ward areas.
- The roles are diverse and include a lot of contact and communication with healthcare professionals and patients and relatives, and would suit someone who likes to work around others.
Requirements / Qualifications
- You will need to be passionate and enthusiastic about patient care; putting patients at the heart of everything you do. You will be working in a multi-professional team and should be flexible and adaptable. For this role you will need to communicate effectively with other staff and patients at all levels.
- Important Notice on Visa Sponsorship Eligibility: please note that whilst the trust does offer sponsorship this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.
